As Maya Consulting continues to grow, so does the need to make sure our everyday work runs smoothly not only for our consultants, but also for our clients, candidates and the whole Maya community.
That is why the Office Manager role is such an important one for us. In a growing company built around experienced professionals, culture does not just happen on its own. It needs attention, structure and practical support without making things too complicated.
To strengthen our ways of working and support our growth, we are happy to have Minttu joined Maya smooth our way. Minttu brings experience in office management, HR, leadership support and culture-building, and just as importantly, a practical and people-oriented mindset.
We asked Minttu a few questions so you can get to know her a little better.
What will you be focusing on as Maya's new Office Manager?
My role is quite versatile. It includes a mix of HR, office management, supporting leadership and developing our company culture and ways of working. In practice, I will be helping to make everyday work smoother for everyone at Maya, from practical office matters to supporting internal processes.
What are you most looking forward to in your new role at Maya?
I’m looking forward to the interesting and challenging opportunities that come with developing the administration and our company culture. And most of all, I’m looking forward to meeting my new colleagues and getting to know the people behind Maya.

When you're not at work, what do you enjoy spending your time on?
Arts and culture in all their forms are very important to me. I also love good food and exploring great restaurants. My slightly more unusual hobbies are archery and urban farming, so there is probably a good mix of focus, patience and getting my hands dirty in my free time too.
One of Maya’s core values is “mutkattomuus” i.e. keeping things straightforward and easy to work with. What does that mean to you?
For me “mutkattomuus” means low hierarchy culture and easy-going relationship with colleagues. I appreciate a culture where people help each other out, and sometimes even across roles and responsibilities. I hope these values are also reflected in the way I work and in how I contribute to developing and maintaining Maya’s company culture.
